I bet all that stuff will be held in my plastic clips that will break off so you can have fresh rattles in the engine compartment. You'll have to remove the entire front clip to change the spark plugs, assuming they even have any. Even after removing the clip you won't be able to reach them until you unbolt the motor mounts and pull the engine forward 4 inches.

looks like the plugs go in the valve covers? i thought this car was going to use the current 4.6.

and chris, while the 80's fox bodies, f-bodies et al were definately the last of the truly easily workable cars, a lot of people still work on latemodels...my brother in law did a rebuild on his '95 5.0 with a haynes manual, hand tools, and common sense. then again, a lot of the clutter (smog pump, other emissions, and such) from his compartment was probably last seen being thrown out a car window in fifth gear...

ford has got it right on with this nostalgia plan, eventhough their stock share are dropping !
gm had good products in the camaro & firebirds but they priced themselves right out of the market !
it is time that they got this front wheel only concept out of their brains. design us a new f-body or a-body style . maybe they can clone the new holden gto .
i believe the worst problem with front wheel drive , is repair costs.
drop a tranny & be prepared to spend upwards over $1500 cdn
& of course at that time u will probably need halfshafts, etc !
    my 2 cents.

Hey Adam, sounds like new cars anyway. the current mustangs need to have the whole engine dropped out of the bottom for a head change. The Chrysler concordes have to have the wheel removed and the wheelwell taken out to change the battery. Heck, my 20 year old Delta has to have the AC bracket removed to change the spark plugs. I guess that's the way it's going.

I like it alot and I am not a Ford fan. But I liked the old Mustangs to except for the Fix Or Repair Daily part. Well that and the part about getting stomped by the old man in the brown Buick. :) All that and I still like the looks of this concept Mustang except for the back of it which looks like the old body Nissan 300ZX. Then again its a Ford Mustang whos going to see the back of it anyway.

OOP'S FORD DID IT AGAIN!! :jd: If ford releases this car...GM better pray long and hard to find something to compete.....Looks like ford won this buick fans heart over.....the quality may not be job 1, but in the styling department, they are :TU:

Well with a Supercharged 4.6 and mid 11 times quite a few people will !!!!
GM has nothing to compete with this in the styling dept. If this is what goes into production I guarantee it will be my daily driver. I still miss my 99 Cobra Convert:puzzled:
