Hey guys I have got a couple questions about the 2004r. I just swaped one in my 67 GS and have it one the rode. I am trying to dial in the shifts. The TV cable is set correctly I verified it with a pressure gauge. I am trying to firm up the 1-2 shifts. Part throttle is nice and firm but full throttle is a little soft. Fluid level is one quart over full also. The trans came from a 87 Monte SS. I have read on a couple forums that a grand national servo and drilling the separator plate holes to 1/8 will firm up the 1-2 shifts. Does any body have the gm part number for the gn servo and cover. Also every one says drill holes in the separator plate per art carr specs. The one post I read said the directions were on his website but I can't find them. I have a service manuel that shows me a diagram of the valve body. I am gonna try this first an see were it gets me. If I am still not happy I will get a recalibration kit from somebody. Thanks in advance
