So I'm pretty sure I'm hearing a ujoint click every so often.

So I've got a few questions for you guys.

If I decide to rebuild this one which brand do ya guys reccomend I go with for replacement parts?

I was doing some research and noticed somebody suggested in a thread replacing the 2 piece for a custom single shaft. This really interest me because I do plan on eventually swapping a 2004r in and if I had the driveline made up now I would just go back and have it modified to accept the 200r4.

    What do ya guys think?

The swap won't be for a while so theirs no hurry.

What car and year are we referring to? I'm guessing full size B body, riv or electra since the A body commonly used a one piece, sometimes with a rubber sleave isolator within the one piece . Two piece drivelines are often used to if the u joint angle is too severe.

Make SURE you get the correct u-joints there is a difference with the 2 piece shafts. Mark EVERYTHING BEFORE you take it apart. The phasing of the front & rear shafts is another critical point so you don't end up with vibrations from the shaft.
Well worth you while to get a chassis manual. It will be cheap in comparison to trying to fix a drive shaft problem.
