1976 Buick Century pace car

Not mine.
Dont see these come up very often. Looks like it would need a whole lot of work!

I always liked those, but cant imagine where you would find the graphics or any of the interior parts. I hope someone can save it.

 

I read they came with Turbo V6 to boost HP for Pace work. This has 350 needing rebuilding.

 

The track pace car and the back-up had the Turbo V6. The 1200 plus for public sale all had 350 4B engine. The red interior in vinyl is interesting. Mine has black with cloth inserts. and different front seats. I am thinking the graphics are know produced but very high $.

 

If your interested in this car talk to G-String here on the board. He restored one of these about 10 years ago.

$1595 for the stencil kit. I remember seeing a white 75 Free Spirit new at a local dealer. Cool looking car with the
T tops.

 

Is that for a 75 or a 76? I was thinking the 76 were more than that.
