Im trying to figure out the correct paint to redo my interior on my wagon. The trim code is 73W. It's a maroon color but I can't get the actual name for it. SEM and GM restoration parts has a couple colors it could be. So trying to get the right one. I have google searched the internet and can't find the info I am after. Any help would be great. Thanks

....and the paint code is 2-202. If you want it flat rather than semi gloss you need to top it with something else.

Go to www.autocolorlibrary.com and look at the back to the chip chart.

Okay, trying to figure out what color GM Restoration Parts uses for Dark Oxblood.

I tried there 001 color and its not even close. And I don't want to have to order 3 more cans of different colors. I emailed them and they can't "recommend" what color to use. So I'm hoping someone has used one of the other 3 "maroons" they use

Ahh, I see. I believe you can have Auto Color Library mix you the proper color and put it in aerosol cans for you. Most any paint supplier can do the same for you. Once you have the Ditzler code, any supply shop worth their salt can mix it up for you. The good ones can also take a device and scan a sample and "roll their own" custom mix. I did just that with my 72 Estate Wagon a couple of years ago.

You probably won't be able to get a good match with a can off the shelf.

Tower paint will also do the aerosol.
