I know that they make these repo decals for other makes. I was wondering if, with computer technology as it is, is it possible to print one of the air filter decals on vinyl using a picture of one, or getting one close to what I need and scanning it, then reprinting
it with the code and numbers I need. is anyone out there smarter than I am at this?
They will NOT make them for the Apollo.

I cant help you but I know what your saying.
My original decal said "GM car" the repros say "GM Vehicle"
I guess they do that so you can use them on trucks too:Smarty::Smarty:

Check out ClassicBuicks.com website. They have some decent pictures of that type decal. If one of the pictures has the part number that you have left on your decal, their photos show the whole decal to include numbers/ filter type/etc.. its worth a shot. It might be the same as that another model used. Trust me I know the frustration of trying to locate Apollo parts. Edit: actually I just went back and looked, they have a Part# DB0407 which is for a 73-74 but is part #6487969 instead of the 6487966 your looking for. Fudge that last number somehow (trim out that last 9 and flip it over/ now its a 6). On this particular sticker it appears to have the numbers 1 283 73 below the part number, so I am assuming its a Julian date and model year that is under the part number.

ClassicBuicks.com doesn't have X body decals and they won't be producing any.
If anyone out there has a 1974 Apollo air cleaner with the original
AC air cleaner decal on it, I'd just like a pic or a description of it.
I need ALL the numbers on the left side ( Year Code, A/F #, decal part#, and misc.
numbers at the bottom of left side)
    Thanks to all

does anyone have a pic of their air cleaner decal for a 1974 Apollo?
I need it to make a copy.
I'm going to try to make a sheet of them. I'm not sure how many I'll have,
but if you can help a brother out, I will try and hook YOU up.
    Thanx
