Sorry to hijack this post but im getting ready to drop a 455 in my 73 century and need some help locating some 73-75 455 frame mounts.Or if anyone has a picture of the location of the big block mounts on a 73-74 frame i would appreciate the help.
you wont find the correct frame mounts anywhere, they only made them from 73-74 centurys and regals with the 455.people on this board have done several 350-455 swaps.they will tell you you can use such and such mounts but the motor will not sit correctly unless you use the correct mounts.now if you can weld and drill holes you could probably use chevy mounts or mopar for that matter.IF YOU WANT THE CORRECT MOUNTS YOU CAN USE THE ONES FROM ELECTRA LESABRE RIVIERA,72-76 BUT THEY ARE HIGHER.YOU MUST CUT THEM DOWN EXACTLY 3/8 OF A INCH .THEN THEY WILL FIT CORRECTLY. ANYMORE HELP LET ME KNOW.
Ray, he did the same thing you did - borrowed my 455 mounts to make his own. He should have them in hand in a day or 2...
