Just for anyones info if you have this body style car 1973-75 and are putting a 455 in it you can use the frame mounts from a big buick car if you cut them down 3/8 of a inch in height.im changing my mounts right now because motor never sat correctly with the big buick mounts in my car,had to use old rubber mounts and motor was tipped to one side.the difference of distant between the mounts when bolted on the car was 17 1/2 inches for high mounts and 18 inches for the low mounts.imagine trying to push your motor down 1/2 inch to make it fit.it doesnt work unless you use your old junky mounts.also with the high mounts your motor will be tipped up and closer to shroud at top.

motor went in yesterday, took about a half hour of slowing droping it in and on to tranny.fit perfect over my frame mounts and i slid both bolts in with ease.motor sits perfect now, what a difference in using the correct frame mounts.also used new rubber mounts on block.i have a extra set of mounts that can be cut if someone needs them.

Which holes on the frame did you use...my 73 Buick appears to have a couple sets of holes...should they be the same as when I had the 350 in? I'm also switching to a 455

the 455 uses the front set of holes. 350 chassis mounts are different from the 455. i made a set for somebody, but no response from them.
