For Sale my 1973 Buick Electra 2 dr. has a great running 455 shows 62,ooo and some miles turbo 400 works like it should drives nice would be either a driver or a resto. has 4 new tires newer Dual Exhaust and Battery refurbished 7043240 Quadrajet by me, this car was used for the last three years to test Quadrajets that's why I bought it, I have a test stand and 455 now to do that, its been in the garage now for 3 years it has its rust and the last owner took off the vinyl top and sprayed it with rustoleum bad Idea ? the car starts up nice choke works no smoke or noise strong runner, I am working on the drivers door because the button on the drivers door not opening door you have to use the inside latch, Dash is in nice shape no tears or cracks, some time back in the 1970,s the continental kit was added fiberglass trunk lid and the opera windows with special hub caps I wonder what that cost, I drove the car from Columbus to Northeast Ohio 3 hours ran good with no issues 70 miles hour what a boat, have clean skirts for it too not rusted away car cover comes with it have more pics. if needed, asking price $1,700 440-223-0014 cell ask for Dan

That’s the 4th early 70’s Electra’s I have seen with the then becoming popular opera windows added. 2 has the window a little lower than your and one was angled.

Your wheelcovers are 67-68 LeSabre optional Deluxe Wheelcovers, basically Electra caps with the trishield instead of the crest. Rarely seen on a 67-68 LeSabre.

Huh?? I've never seen those wheel covers with anything but a tri-shield. My parents had an awesome '68 Electra back then and it had tri-shield centers. And I never saw a new '68 LeSabre with them either. I was around and noticing things like that in '68. Do you have a brochure showing this?

    Sorry about the hijack. GLWS

I had my mind on the 72’s, was just discussing them, the 72 Electra had the Crest and the optional deluxe caps for the Centurion was the same cover but had the helmet.

My literature is still in PA, the optional wheelcovers for 67 LeSabre can be seen in the 3 ring binder sales manual, here is a copy of the option list listing them.

You are correct that the 67 Electra had trishield

Here is a listing for an NOS set, and as can be seen listed for Electra and Super Deluxe LeSabre

Don't get your hopes up. I had a set of 4 that I tried to sell at Buick swap meets on 3 separate occasions. Finally, I was tired of lookin' at 'em and sold all 4 for $10.00. :(

World of difference between a set of NOS wheelcovers and used. Although that set is priced on another world.

Would make a good winter car too, and a excellent donor car for another Electra.
