I lowered the price to $1,350. Really need it gone and REALLY want to see it go to someone that can do something with it other than part it out.

Hey John - glad the '70 is still out there. Interior is good except for front seat and dash. Just put a new headliner in it right before the wreck. Trim is all great and polished up really nice. Electric gate, some rust on the bottom.

Email me direct if you want chat further, thanks.

Sounds like between Chris wanting the car, John's frame, and Allen giving it a ride to Wichita this car could be saved. Hope you guys can pull it all together. Other than Greg's misfortune, it would be a great story.

If all this happens, it would be cool to keep this thread running as a documentary of the wagon being saved. And, all those involved in making it happen.

Update on the sport wagon - now parts car...

Well, no one wanted it as is, so, the parting has begun. Have sold the engine & trans, some misc interior parts, but the rest is still available.

Let me know if anyone with a wagon needs stuff, including the rack, tailgate, spoiler, other wagon-specific needs.

    Thanks,

    Greg

Now parting out the '72 that got trashed. Engine/trans gone. Email me with needs. Car has clean title so if you need a shell, this would work. Frame is toast, firewall and door post is jacked. Will post some pix once I get them downsized to work on this forum.

    Let me know, thanks.

What happened with the eBay sale? Seller not post with the $? Shame to see it parted. I wish I had been in a position to do it.

Scammer. Listed it again, then nothing. Had some interest locally, but no one stepped up.

So, it will become an organ donor. It is a shame, but hey, crap occurs. If folks can use some of the parts to keep another one on the road, then I'm good with that. Don't worry - it will not get crushed. At some point, it will be shell and title, but hopefully it will live on in some manner.

Nope. Radiator bit the dust in the accident.
