For sale is a pretty clean 1972 Skylark convertible. The car was being converted to a pro-street project by someone else in the early 80's and the project got pushed to the back of the garage by life. At the heart of the conversion is a narrowed Ford 9" rearend and really nice looking build work. The frame of the car is beautiful and that cannot be stated enough - it's the cleanest frame I've ever had and worth the price of the whole car. The shell is very solid as well, floor and trunk pans are original and solid with very light surface rust only. There is an area needing repair in the lower drivers side portion of the firewall, as shown. The outer qtr panel on the drivers side was replaced and needs finishing. The car did not come with a drive train so you get to finally use that engine you have on a stand! Clean title Looking to move this project. I will try for a bit to sell as a complete car but am also willing to bring it to Bowling Green with a sawzall and start selling off piece by piece. IF that generates interest let me know what part you may like and I can start figuring out prices. Doors are great, convertible top frame is nice and not tweaked. Selling piece by piece takes a bit of time but a good frame sells for 2000. the rear-end new is over 2100. good doors are a couple hundred, the pass side rear fender is a 1000 it just goes on and on. The car is located just north of Grand Rapids, MI $2800. - includes delivery to BG as a whole car if desired
