    Hey guys,

I've had my '72 LeSabre Convertible for 5 or 6 years now and the fuel gauge has never worked. I finally decided to pull out the tank and replace the float. When I got it out, I found that my float has only a supply tube, NO return tube. All the parts I can find for this year LeSabre come with 2 tubes. I ordered a Skylark version (which only has 1 tube), but the diameter of the unit wasn't even close. Any idea where I can get the right part?

Of course, I can probably just plug the return line, but I'd rather have one that fits like the original.

    Thanks!

You can have your unit rebuilt. If it has no return line, it must be a factory 2 barrel carb car.
