Welcome. Where on L.I.? Just get the car? Have you been to Bellmore? Do you know BrunoD? He can help with parts needs as well.

    Hi all,
From Huntington. I’ve owned my GS 455 since 1983. I just dropped it off this weekend to start the driver resto. J. Cook recommended this site to me a few weeks back at Buick Club show at Arnold Buick.

The car is a 7/10. It’s getting new metal quarters, fender patch, rechromed bumpers, vinyl top, rear spoiler. Most of the car and trim is solid. I’ve kept it garaged since 1983 and had rebuilt to stage 1 specs in 1990. I don’t think it’s seen rain in 25 years. It needs cosmetic work. Some of the chrome trim is slightly dented up over the years. It’s all complete, however.

    Looking for the following
    Rear wheel well moldings.
    Windshield trim
    Rear spoiler
Door panel chrome strip that separates the carpet strip from wood grain
    Rear seat belts
    Tail light rubber impact strips
