Looks like this could be a really nice car although it did have a color change.

Maybe the person who owns the 71 GSX that I posted in the eBay leads section earlier today can swap air cleaners with this person.

It's definitely the best 72 interior combination other than white.

He might want to get the right year specs for hp and torque ratings. Clueless

Just enough info to almost appear credible, just enough bad grammar and technical errors to look like a scam...hmm.

My first GS was a U code 1972 GS455 back in 1981, it was all white with a black interior. I think it went somewhere to the Maryland area in the late eighties, that car was the "ONE" that got me hooked on Buick Gran Sports FOREVER!!! :D Larry.

How did you know? What color was it originally?

Original color looks to be Burnished copper, No blue vin Sticker inside the drivers door obviously not original looks like they cut corners under the hood did not paint the inner side of the fenders.

Grill emblem looks like it's in the wrong place too.

It is a late car with the "Fasten Seat Belt" light on the dash pad.

Something fishy with the 455 emblems??

Agreed. I think this is my favorite interior color combo I've seen in a '70-'72 (depending on what color the outside is, obviously, but looks great with the black).

Also has an early style 1970 over flow coolant tank.

And what appears to be a '70 fan shroud.....

Good catch Brett. Almost makes it worth the asking price now. :D

You have a good eye! I had not noticed the mismatched fender paint. I think this is why the photographer choose this camera angle, it almost completely hides this fact.

As others have mentioned it has a '70 fan Shroud and washer jug, an early clear-top overflow tank, and a '70-'71 air cleaner. A great looking car but $31k is strong money for a pieced together U-code '72.

That ain't no stock brake booster either. Hate to beat this car up but there are so many inconsistencies that need to be pointed out to any potential buyer from this forum.
