1972 Twin Turbo Buick Skylark roller for sale
. Not a GS or original big block car. Perfect body painted in PPG Speed Green. Under the Stage 2 hood it is painted in black, correct splatter paint in trunk, new rubber seals everywhere. Billet Specialties wheels powder coated black as well as bumpers and door handles. Has 295 65 15 ET Street Radials in the rear, but will need new ones soon, regular radials up front.

Has a Strange 3 1/2 inch chromeoly driveshaft and the rear end is a Moser 9 with 3.50 gears. The brakes are Wilwood discs all the way around with dual calipers in the rear. Has a Wilwood 7/8 Master cylinder, proportioning valve, line lock, etc. Brakes alone were 3k. It has a black Precision Performance Products shifter, military spec arming switches for Line Lock, Trans brake, Fuel pump and fan. It has a custom sheet metal center console with a built in cup holder for a Double Big Gulp. Has a parachute release directly above you and and a window net to be legal for the car to run as fast as it is certified for. Also has a GS steering wheel. If the fuel system doesn't sell, I can include that as well and that will support over 1500 carburated horsepower with ease. 20 gallon cell with GM sending unit, -12 fittings and a Magnafuel 500 pump with a return to the cell. The exhaust is dual 3 1/2 inch with Dynomax Race Magnum mufflers and isn't too loud for street driving. The car has an 8.50 Certified (will need to be recertified as they expire) cage in it with swing outs. Car also has reinforcements boxing the frame below the car and is incredibly solid and stable on the street and track. You can go down the strip with only one hand on the steering wheel turning a 9 second quarter mile and it goes dead straight. There is also a custom transmission cross member fabricated for the car as well. The car has a Wolf Race Craft complete rear suspension as well as QA1 adjustable shocks. The front seats are Kirkey's and the rear seats are factory and black and in great condition. No door panels in car, but has green carpet in front and haven't gotten around to installing rear carpet yet. This car has everything you could want in a drag car with street car manners. If any questions, call me at 760-703-4627. My name is David. Car is 18K for rolling chassis with all parts listed above. Will provide pictures upon request. You can see my previous ad in Cars for Sale on V8 Buick to see the original ad and videos of the car running. The parts on the roller with cage are cost more than the asking price of the car and the car is completely restored from a paint and body perspective. A decent paint job is more than 6k and more like 10k with a fair amount of body work. buick 3.jpg 1972-green-twin-turbo-buick-skylark-3.png 1972-green-twin-turbo-buick-skylark-4.png buick 3.jpg 1972-green-twin-turbo-buick-skylark-3.png

It's all a guy could want for a hot rod,..I would love to have it to wrap around my twin turbo tomahawk, but 18k is a lot of money to drop on a toy,..worth every penny, and certainly can't be duplicated for that money, but it's more practical for most us guys to just chip away at stuff

What do people think is fair for this car while still being realistic? When I say the paint and body are perfect, I mean it is perfect. Everything minus door panels and headliner are done on this car and all you need is your powerplant and tranny. Suspension is the best, brakes are the best, cage, hidden cage below the car, parachute with parachute mount, shifter, exhaust completely v banded, fuel system, everything.

Car would probably sell pretty quick on Racingjunk or the Bullet, with its current price and it would get an LS or BBC dropped in it, which would suck but what you gonna do,..
I know if it were mine there is no way in hell it would leave my possession for less than 15k,..if there was anyway possible for me to swing it I would no doubt

For me, it's as simple as color preference. If the car was a light color like white, silver, light blue, etc. I would buy it right now for $15k. I really don't like dark colors but for those that do, this car would be a great platform for a bargain compared to building it from scratch.

Good luck. I hope it stays Buick powered.

I would probably drop a few thousand it that made a difference, but that would be it. Probably put it on the Bullet and Racing Junk tomorrow. The color isn't for everyone, but does grow on you and is downright evil in person. I was thinking of stuffing an LS with a turbo in it if it won't go, but that might make me vomit to do it. Also open to trades as well.

Anybody interested? You could build this for under 40k and that is still a push.

8.50 cage in the car, reinforced cage below the car that isn't in plain view, fuel system (magnafuel 500 pump, Aeromotive A1000 regulator, 20 gallon cell with GM Sending unit) if it doesn't sell. Moser 9 inch rear end with 3.50 gears, Strange 3.5 inch Chromoly driveshaft, 3.5 inch Dynomax Race Magnum Exhaust that is v banded, restored body. Car was overally pretty rust free, Billet Specialties wheels powdercoated, Wilwood brakes all around with 7/8 master cylinder, proportioning valve, Precision Performance Products shifter, Window net, Stroud Parachute with release above your head in car. 5 point harnesses in each seat in the front, Kirkey seats, factory seat in the back, new green carpet. Ton's more stuff, but just a highlight.

    Hey David!

    Love the car!!
Really loved the twins and the easy power and speed!!

You mentioned above about maybe trades...
Do you have anything particular in mind?
    Something you may want?
    Something maybe you don’t?
I don’t have anything to trade in mind but I just wanted to see which direction you may be headed, (or maybe thinking of heading).

Just doing a little thinking about this, I’d love to have it and put another twin turbo motor but maybe use Tomahawk or even KBS Wildcat Iron...

Good Luck and Thanks for your time!!

Guys anybody out there? This car would cost well over 40k to build in terms of just a rolling chassis and you are getting tons of stuff with it. You could bolt in an engine and tranny and have a car that will go dead straight, certified for 8.50s, drive anywhere depending on your engine reliability, etc. Incredible brakes, hidden 6.50 cage below the car. 8.50 cage in the car. Full interior car, just need to put door panels back in it. Parachute mount with stroud chute. 9 inch Moser rear end with 3.50 gear, Billet Specialties wheels that are powdercoated and perfect. Wilwood brakes all the way around with a dual caliper set up in the rear. 7/8 master cylinder, proportioning valve, line lock, Wolf Racecraft rear suspension, QA1 fully adjustable shocks all the way around. 3 1/2 inch Dynomax Race Magnum mufflers with fully v banded exhaust. Kirkey seats, 5 point harnesses, perfect back seat, Sport Steering wheel, Speed Green in color from PPG. Flawless paint and body, Stage 2 Buick scoop. Optima Battery relocated to trunk with cut off per NHRA specs as is everything else in the car. 140 amp alternator that is stock appearing. The list goes on and on. No lower than 15k and I am also open to trades. Cars, Silver bullion, etc. You can call me at 760-703-4627. David

TTT. Open to trades for Turbo Regal, Silver, Two tone Submariner Rolex and cash. Car just sits around. Couldn't build this thing for under 40k with the paint, body, cage, chute, chute mount, brakes, rims and tires, Moser 9", Strange Driveshaft, extra 7531 box, Fuel system if it doesn't sell, shifter, the list goes on and one. I will take a ton of pics this weekend to post. Incredible car. If doesn't sell will just be dropping turbocharged LS into it so don't make me do that please or the car might commit suicide.

Also throw in an extra MSD 7531 box which is $1000 alone. Car also has Auto Meter Sports Comp gauges. Tach with memory of highest RPM, Fuel Pressure, Boost Pressure, Oil Pressure, Water Temperature gauges. Not sure if I mentioned those as well.

Still have car minus engine, tranny and fuel system. Still have Twin Turbo system, all parts for it, CSU Carb, Continental convertor, Strange Chromology driveshaft. You just need your 455 and tranny and I got the rest.
