Thank god the rims don't come with this car... Lucky they made it a pimp mobile but without the rims it could be a very cool car. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1033649596.html 1972 BUICK SKYLARK $4,500 (firm) NO RIMS - $4500 (SEATTLE) Reply to: sale-1033649596@craigslist.org [?] Date: 2009-02-13, 2:00PM PST TWO TONE PAINT, BUCKET SEATS, STOCK FLOOR SHIFTER, 350 V8, 2 BARREL, DUAL EXHAUST, CAR COMES ON STOCK RALLYS(it on sum 14*7 gold standards) (run like a top and thumbs up everywhere i go) (206) 679-0785
Looks like the car was originally Burnished Cinnamon and they added the black paint on top to make the two-tone effect. It is actually a nice looking car other than the ugly wheels - even has buckets and a floor shifter!
I was thinking the opposite, black car with the side color added. It is nice looking, aside from the wheels.
Not sure of what color it was stock. The paint looks pretty fresh all the way around. The little that you can see of the door jams look black down lower than the outside of the car, but the interior matches the lower part of the car.... Either way I wish I had the car with the stock rims on it. It looks like it could use a 455 though.
I think there's a tip off in the interior pic of the original color. Look at the A pillar in between the weather stripping and the interior panel. Looks like bamboo cream or white to me. Everyone forgets to paint under there. Either way, it look like a nice car for the money. First thing I wouild do is make it one color. I dont like the way they separated them.
looks ok to me for the price, hell who among us doesnt have a pile of rally wheels laying around? Speaking of which, the green car in the background of the "sky view" pic seems to have a set on it:Brow:
He says it's going to have stock rally wheels on it when it's sold. May not be nice ones, but they will look way better than what's on there.
