Rough, but to the right person it might be worth it.

Is that a rubber fuel line running the length of the undercarraige?

It's definetly rough, a jewel in the rough.

I don't know about the fuel line either?

Rich Johns beat me to this car in Maryland because he said he was going to restore it and not part it. I had a friend that was going to drive over with the cash ($1200). I told him if he changed his mind I'd like first shot at the car. :ball: Guess not. :Do No:

So somehow the car mysteriously went from having it's original numbers matching engine to now having a 70 SF code engine. Ain't it weird how things happen ? Did the car travel through the Bermuda Triangle or something ?

That is the car! I sold it to Rich, I was told by the guy I got it from that it had the original engine in it, when Rich came to pick it up, he determined it did not (still paid me the price we agreed on). Looks like he got it running, changed some sheet metal on it and got an original rear bumper. Someone has a ton of work ahead of them but it will make a fairly rare car for someone!

What the he** is going on with our cars. First the GSX today gets horrendous $$ and now this (another "train wreck") is at 15,000 :jd:
I'm so confused. Soon we will see this ad: 70 Stage 1, 4 speed, numbers matching needs full resto for $50,000. Oh, sorry, that's my car and it's not for sale. :Smarty:

Unlike our Canadian border bosses, it is VERY easy to take a car from Canada to the US. Title and bill of sale are all you need. That's it!

You don't need all the inspection BS?
Aren't there necessary Customs forms required for Titling in most states?

No inspection BS for me when I brought a car over to the US from Canada, other than the quick "inspection" they do at the border. You get the necessary custom forms at the border when you cross. I think you have to pay duties when bring it across depending on the value? I said I only paid $1k for the convertible I bought so I didn't have any issues.

There were no duties or tax on the convert I bought back from Harvey either. I don't remember declared value but it was over 10K. Then again, maybe Rick took a back way seldom travelled except by Canadians sneaking into USA to shop for liquor and cigarettes.

Thanks for the info Chris and Rick. What kind of Customs forms do they give you?
