I think the original engine resides with my older brother. I would have to check the vin, but it won't be for sale for less than 1,000,000. It's got to be worth as much as the sheet metal. lol

I thought about buying this car until I notice he listed it as "left hand drive". I drive with my right hand!

Ken, was this the car you had in the Car Craft article with Mark Busher and Rich Lassiter back in 1983?

I don't have that issue or can't find it. I left Kenne- Bell around 1981

I do have the "original" NHRA 1975 Winter Nationals FS Automatic class trophy I won. It's the only thing out of place. It's on the fireplace in the living room! Now surrounded by Christmas trimmings. I found out just a few years ago that one of my nephews got a letter or reprint that I was the only NHRA driver in history to Never lose any class race. If I had stayed any longer than 6-7 years I doubt if that would still be true. I have a copy of that somewhere, but after my last move I can't find much of anything important???

Yes I do have that some where. Don't know where the 13.10 came from, maybe before I had the car. Pop held the record at 12:42. I never reset the record but never went slower than 12:42 but maybe an old national dragster paper might tell us. The car went a best of 12: 20 something. Just never had to run that fast to beat everyone! I also don't know how the car went from C to F/SA.

So cool Buick history Ken, you know I dig it but you lived it.

Well, now I can justify it. It was just that measly extra 100k that was holding me back.... :rolleyes:o_O:confused:

That might be a funny phone call, Jim! Tell them you’re mailing a check for 72k to cover fees and shipping.
