I have an opportunity to purchase another project, so seeing if I can move this quick.

Asking $2700 OBO. I have about $3,000 into it. $100 donation to the board if it sells here. Located in Scranton, PA. You guys know the rules- post your interest in the thread first before sending a PM.

Up for sale is my 1971 Buick Skylark. I am the 4th owner.

    History:

This car was purchased new on December 31, 1970 in San Diego, California. I have the original protecto-plate. This car stayed with its original owner until August 1994, when a family member purchased the car and drove it to Auburn, Illinois. It stayed with the original family until sold in December 2013. I purchased the car in May 2015. It has been garage kept since I’ve owned it.

    Body:

Being a California car for most of its life, it is a very solid car. The fenders are rotted, but other than that it is pretty clean. There are a few pinholes in each quarter (see pics), the trunk lid is rotted on the inside, and the core support will also need a small patch on the passenger’s side. The frame, floor, and trunk pan are solid. The doors, roof, hood, lower quarters, rockers, cowl, and rear window filler panel are all really solid. It was also ziebart treated at some point in its life. It is evident this car hasn’t spent much time in the Northeast. It shows 102,846 miles on the odometer. The car is 100% complete. The chrome is in decent original shape. The front windshield is cracked, the rear window and side glass are all nice. The grille is nice and uncracked. Included in the sale is a rusty GS hood with a good center section to use the scoops, and a set of nice 14 inch rally wheels.

    Mechanical:

Originally a 350-2 barrel car, someone has swapped in a 350-4 barrel. It starts right up and idles smooth. We moved it to a new storage garage two months ago and drove it the 6 block distance. It will need a battery, but starts off of a jump. However, when moving it out of the garage to take pictures today, it popped a brake line. There is still some pedal, so it can be driven onto a trailer safely. Included in the sale is the original intake, carb, and air cleaner. It also comes with an extra set of heads.

    Interior:

The interior is 100% original. This car is very well optioned. It has power windows, power door locks, power seat, AM radio, and A/C. All power options work! The A/C does not work, and the AM radio has been replaced with an aftermarket AM/FM unit, but the original is included. The front set needs to be recovered. The dash is really nice.
