I bought this original GS350 in 2011 as a roller from a board member in Bakersfield, CA. I put in a rebuilt engine and transmission, new paint, interior, top and many other new parts. It now has 8k miles on it.

-455 with stage 1 heads, forged pistons, Comp cams 268H, Hooker headers, Edelbrock Performer intake, 800 cfm quadrajet, RobbMC fuel pump, HEI distributor, high output alternator. Engine dyno at 423 h.p. and 538 ft. lbs.
-Pro6Ten AC compressor with new heater core and condenser.
    -Griffin aluminum radiator
-Rebuilt TH400 transmission with shift kit and stall converter, B&M trans cooler
-Hotchkiss front A-arms, heavy duty sway bar,
    -Fast ratio steering box-3-1/8 turns
-3:42 Positraction rear end with boxed rear control arms and heavy duty sway bar
    -Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust system
    -Four wheel disc brakes
-Braided steel fuel, brake, and transmission lines
    -New gas tank
-New Robbins convertible top w/glass window, rebuilt pump and cylinders
-Legendary interior, carpets, Quiet Ride sound insulation kit
-Retrosound radio with four speakers and 200 watt amp
    -All new M&H wiring

The car looks good and runs strong. It’s been driven most weekends so has a few minor scratches and dings. There’s a scratch in the rear quarter glass caused by a weatherstripping screw coming loose. The last time I had it at the shop the mechanic said there was a very slight leak in the radiator core, but I haven’t had to add any coolant. The temp runs around 190 even on hot days and hard pulls on mountain roads, but it will heat up if idling for a period of time or in very slow traffic on a hot day. The highest I’ve seen it was around 220. I got the instrument panel from a 4-speed car so the speedometer isn’t correct, but I’ve got the right one that I’ll include with a bunch of extra parts. It also doesn’t have the correct speedometer gear in the trans. I hardly ever drive it at night but the last time I did there was a light out in the dash that I haven’t replaced. The radio needs the wiring fixed because now it loses all the presets when it’s shut off. There’s no choke so it takes some pumping when cold, but generally starts with a single turn of the switch when warm.

The extra parts include a Quadrajet #7041540 which was rebuilt with the engine and the original re-conditioned radiator. I’ve also got the original GS 455 air cleaner, but I took it off because it rubbed on the hood. I’ve got the chrome trim pieces for the trunk lid and quarter panels, but haven’t installed them. There are various pulleys, dash bezels, and other miscellaneous parts that I will include.

Please PM with any questions. I’ve got more pics that I’m happy to send on request. I don’t have any recent undercarriage shots, and I’m not physically able to crawl under the car, but over the past two years I had to replace the engine rear main seal and the transmission rear seal so it’s probably a little oily. No leaks at present time.

Car is located in Los Angeles. Asking $29,500.

Great idea, Joseph. I could take my wife to the garage and show her two Harleys sitting where the Buick was. If she asked why two Harleys I'd say one is for you, Honey. But I'd be ready to duck if she grabbed a wrench or hammer and threw it at me.

Dennis, that's a great color combination the bucket seats and shifter on the floor add to the appeal of the car. I think that's where Buick went wrong in 71 and 72 they made an a lot harder to get bucket seats in a convertible I think they would've sold a lot more cars.

Car went to its new owner yesterday. Kinda sad to see it go after seven years, but I'm glad the owner is a Buick guy who appreciates these cars. Thanks to everyone on this board who helped me get it on the road with parts, information, and advice. Much appreciated--it would have been a whole lot harder without those things.
