    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

One thing I've learned through 80+ cars of ownership: A plane ticket + shipping across the country for the right car is better than buying the wrong car because it's close to you. Just food for thought.

Yeah I agree. It aint cheap, but if you widen your net a little more there are really nice cars available, even if its a 5 or 6 hour drive or a flight.

  3. I just sold this car for 14,500 and there wasn't any rust in it period!! excellent interior, great running engine and it took a while to even get that much out of it. rustorama1.jpg

    Agreed!

And if you don't want to spend the time/bucks flying cross country, you probably can find someone on v8buick that is close and willing to look at the car for you. You still have to pay for the shipping though. And wait for the car to arrive. And then wait some more for it arrive. And then some more. That is where i am right now, (im)patiently waiting for shipping......

How much did you spend to have your car shipped? What distance?

FL to WA, over 3k miles, was $2,050 enclosed. OH to WA will be about $1800.

Buy the very best that you can afford, irrespective of location.

OP would be MUCH better off with your car for not much more $. From what little I know about it, heck with transporting it, I'd fly down and drive it back!
