Never seen one of these before: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare...6434298?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item20c05f72fa
Based on this aticle, it looks like they're "built on 10-year-old Cadillac and Buick bodies, with rebuilt V-8s" and were first built in 1985. http://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=19911210&slug=1322221 Doesn't do anything for me but to each his own.
I've seen one at a big car show in Switzerland in the early 90's of the last century. Registering it in the Netherlands will cause a few problems. The chassis (wheelbase) isn't original anymore, so the car has to undergo a crash test to get a type appproval. So you have to buy at least two of those cars
It looks pretty cool from the front, but that rear end is butt ugly. And don't get me started on the dash. Looks like they broke it in the middle and bent the edges down.
Wel, that's a factory dashboard that you will find in full size Buick from model years like 1971, 1972 and 1973  In this case a 1971 Centurion :TU:
This dash (center & side section inserts) looks to be 1973 trim. I beleive that '71 & '72 has a mix of chrome and wood (look) which weas different than what is shown. Also, the steering wheel is not from a '71-'73 Buick ... a later Buick or Olds, maybe?
The shape is the same, and that was what he was a wee bit upset about: Look at the VIN, the car is in fact a model year 1971 Centurion. So that's what I meant with:
Shows how far we have come... if they did this car now it would have custom wheels as apposed to recycled caddy bits. Ditto for dash.
Looks like the trash kit cars that are always for sale. Just because it came from a shop and not a kit you could buy doesn't make it any more desirable....
The pacer and aztek were factory cars at least so you could find parts easy, sell it easy, get it worked on anywhere. This thing is a Frankenstein's monster! Ten pounds of ugly in a five pound bucket. I think the comment about it being made from available parts was right on the money. YUK!
