I live in Roanoke Va, My dad purchased this car when I was 16 I am 56 now. We began restoring it then he fell ill and passed away. It has sat in this shop for 16 years. It needs to be restored or can be a warehouse for dozens of other boat tails. I have every single piece right down to the original keys. The 455 is free and we were about to replace all the ignition pieces and start it up when he could no longer do it. The car was green on green and was absolutely stunning when he first got it back in 1978. I understand that who ever buys it will have to transport it to where ever, that is why I am only asking $1500.00 for it or best offer. I have a few pictures but not many yet. But lets be honest. It's a Riv and we all know how cool they look restored and if your going to part it out what does it matter.
I will take some pics today and post them tonight. as soon as I figure out to post them here.. rokie... lol oh wait..I will take more later .
Ok I took more pics. A lot of the car is as solid as a rock less the rear section. The rear glass leaked while it was stored outside and that rusted out the rear floors and the trunk. (My dad did not store it properly obviously) Good thing all the rusted out parts are still available. I checked. Dad took off the right door but its in perfect shape. less the carpet and rear seat the interior pieces are all in good shape just need cleaning? The rear seat assembly is there just needs to be recovered. I have all the trim, bumpers, lights, you name it it is still here. Like I said this was going to be our next project but he didn't make it.
