1970 tach wire and gauge connector

    Did the 1970 wiring harness for gauges have an adapter for when gauges were ordered or was it a direct connect Like the idiot lights.

    Also was a tach wire always in the harness?
    The assembly manual states it is there ;and just tape back if clockWas ordered.

    For the gauges in 70 there was a different harness if you got that package. In 71-2 timeframe they came out with a patch cable.

    I actually bought a bunch of stuff from you
    Around 1990, i came to your place in NY.
    Do you still have that yellow gsx i saw in the garage. Awesome!
    By the way do you know if the tach wire was always there and just taped back if you had the Clock option?

    I'm not sure where the tach wire would go. My 1971 GS had gauges but there was only the points wire on the negative coil terminal. So, it would not be connected on either end.
