Hi James, not currently in the market for another car , however this is one bad ride . Oh and thanks for your help in B.G. Now on with the sale!
Any more info on motor? Who built? Are heads ported? How many passes and street miles? Block have any fill? Looks like it has one of my Dominator carb air screens on it. Thanks///Bruce
Bruce, I bought the car in the summer of 2014 and only had a total of 6 runs at the local 1/8 mile track that year. I drove it on the street mostly that year, and guessing I put 300-350 of the total 449 miles I’ve put on it since I’ve had it. The motor was freshened up in February 2015 by Jim Turner, and that is when the new GRP rods were installed. He also installed a new set of “beehive“ valve springs. The pistons and cam/lifters were re-used as they looked fine. Yes, the heads and intake have been ported. Since 2015, there is a total of 37 runs on the motor (30 1/4 mile; 7 1/8 mile). I’m estimating only about 100-150 street miles since then. I have all my ET slips that are dated, and a picture of the odometer when I purchased the car and one I just took today as a reference for anyone that wants to see this information. Yes, that is one of your Dominator air screens on it. I love it!
Very cool car - aside from the high performance parts, the base vehicle, condition and options alone are almost interesting enough on their own to warrant the asking price
Steve, I would consider a trade for a 70-72 GSX clone with nice paint, preferably a white or silver one.
I’ve had a few PM’s expressing interest, but nothing serious so far. One board member is flying into DFW late next week and would like to come see the car while he is in town. Unless someone contacts me and we work out a deal by Monday 6/15 for delivery to the Buick Bash on Thursday, the offer for enclosed delivery will be off the table since I will need to load up and leave Wednesday morning.
