I am looking for the rear hood stop/leveler and safety catch. I have attached a picture of the one I have. IMG_20180922_111633707 (2).jpg

I have a 70 parts car that I'm going to be checking on parts for other folks mid week. I have included a photo of the ones on the car that I have just be make sure. Take a look and let me know if this is what you are looking for.

Blast yours clean and paint it gold cad. Once it is dry, dip the top in black handle dip. Hang it upside down until that dries.

It looks like the one I have. I can't tell if the area under the head is smooth and then has threads. I have one but need two.

    Corey,

I just bought this car and its 100 miles away from me so checking on things will take time until I can get it home. I was able to check my car yesterday and attaché is a photo one of the hood levelers. One was really tight and I didn't want to push it to breaking. It soaking under penetrating oil so the next time I get there, hopefully it will be easier to remove. I have attached a photo of the one that I removed. Unlike yours, it has threads all the way to the top. Other that the threads, it looks the same. It did come from a 1970 Skylark. Let me know what you think.

The total length of the bolt is almost 2 1/4" long. From under the square nut to the thread end of the bolt is right at 1 and 9/16 of an inch. If it is close to those measurements I will buy it from you.

Corey, with the exception of my threads going all the way to the head, the measurements are exactly what you had provided. I have a lot to learn about pricing things as I only have one parts car and not a fleet of cars/parts to draw from. What would you give me for it? Shipping or Mail will be what it is. Since I'm new to this parts selling thing, I don't know how to do primate messages.
