Maybe someone added the console and that is the wrong part? :>)

Should be black regardless as far as I know. Brett & I have had fun lately noting all the cars for sale with incorrect shift knobs. He found an NOS (matte black, no pattern) for his (my old car) & turned me on to a deal Thorntons had on the correct repro one (matte black w/pattern) for my "new" car.

I like how the last pic says it's a "GS-455". Not a good sign to describe it like that if is the real deal. To me that's a warning sign.

All you have to do is look no further than the VIN for confrmation

Additional pictures of the car would be better than that sign. A car like that, you should be able to get it outside and take pictures all over it.

Exactly! A little more detail & more pics on a $29k car! Maybe even a Wayne Roberts report. Seriously, what are people thinking when they put these ads up?

This car was at Carlisle last week too. I did not look at it real close but the front seat covers were wrong too. The waffle pattern covers the whole seating area of the seat instead of just the middle. The back seat was correct if I remember correctly. I would still be proud to own it.

  14. what would this car be worth if it were an automatic instead of 4 speed? in other words what extra value does the 4 speed add?

    I would say about 20-25%

I think at least 25%, but I love 4-sp. cars, so I could be a bit biased. Maybe less on some cars (e.g. GSX, GS 455 Stage 1) & more on others (GS 350, GS 455)?
