    Cole,
Someone once told me if you don't sell them then you don't lose any money, I think you have the right Idea.
Pretty rare car no matter how you slice it, and I hope someone restores it. I've seen cars that were worse in Concours after being finished. All it takes is time & :dollar:.

My buddy bought the same car locally off CL and it is in running, driving condition, in need of a resto.. The original motor was not in the car, but included, as well as a NOS front grille on the GM box.....he paid $3500 for it.

While I agree that its a hobby, but I dont like throwing money away either. Sadly, im not independently wealthy, so my heart drives me, but I still have to think with my head.

Which is why I stopped at $3200. There are so many great cars out there that sometimes we get caught up in that "1 of ..." gotta have it mentality.

I'm not at liberty to say who purchased this car at this time but a famous Drag Racer has purchased it and so far plans are to have it fully restored at Autokraft Race Cars & Restorations - www.autokraft.org which is the shop that does the work on my cars. I can guarantee it will be NICE when it's done! From what I've been told it's 1 of 1 because of the option list / color combo.

If granted permission I will post some pictures if it does end up here for Restoration. Should be a cool project to follow.

That up for sale right before the excrement hit the fan with covid and prices were still fairly reasonable. Looking back now, yeah....but, it was alot. Not saying it wasn't worth it.

I almost puked when I bought the X. 8 months later, it feels like it was a deal. :D

I did note that in the thread on the BAT car. Don't think anyone saw the classic car market exoloding 2 years ago.

The market is literally nuts right now. Cant stay like this forever though. I'm hoping the bottom falls out of the GS market. I still have a few more cars I want to buy
