I just got my 1970 GS 455 back from paint and I started putting it back together and when I went to put the windshield wiper arms on they seemed to be indexed way to low in the "park" position. First question: Is there a difference between a 1970, 1971 and 1972 assembly? I have all three that are basically parts cars and I am not sure if the assembly I am using came from the 1970. Some additional information: The motor in the park position has the arm pointing at 9 o'clock (drive side). The index on the drive side wiper blade assembly is inline with the wiper blade on the front side of the grooved hole. The "drive head" (i.e. the thing that sticks through the cowl, has 3 bolts, and the teeth that the blade assembly pushes on to) is indexed at ~8 o'clock. That seems to be the problem. It also seems that this could be removed and rotated. Has anyone came across this issue? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
