Last piece of the puzzle. I started with a 72 pad that was baroque gold. Washed it good with hot water,dish soap,a brush,then soft scotch-brite. Air-hose and let dry. I had a can of SEM NAPA red,which is too dark,but I used it for a good base coat,and also to make sure I wouldn’t have an issue with adhesion. Then multiple light coats of my 1970 red mix. Walla! Looks a little brighter in the picture than what it really is.
