1970 buick gs parts car or big project. frame is bad under the rear seat and in the rear. has bucket seats, shifter on the floor console, tach dash with gauges, power disc brakes, power steering. was running 5 years ago. missing the carb. original gs hood and air cleaner are gone. blue paint looks to be the original paint. trunk lid, hood are good. rest of the panels have rust. nice glass, window trim and so on. the interior is in good shape other then the drivers seat is tore up. dash pad is nice and the gauges are nice as well. been stored inside but it rusted from the bottom up. the car was originally a 4 speed car but was changed to an automatic at one time. $2100.00 for the whole car. i may part it out if it doesnt sell as a whole.

It has a 4 speed trans speedometer. Time for Copperhead to step up to the plate.

Anyone have a picture of the cowl tag?

On second thought, this would be a Jason Cook car if it was not priced so high.

Its got some nice parts on it. Not sure I see 2100 there. If that car was closer, Id be all over it

Easily worth the price for parts alone IMHO.

Honestly, you would need to get the car for a grand to make it worth it. At 1000, your not retiring early but at least there's some meat left on the bone. Remember, these cars don't part themselves out. You have to add in the heavy lifting into the mix plus the marketing of the parts, shipping, etc. Its a lot of work all around

Agree Jason. But if you have a 70 GS you are restoring yourself and would like to stick back a few hard to find parts...

For sure, it all depends on how you look at it. To me, its just a pile of parts! :p It would of been a home run if the hood and air cleaner were present or the frame was good. (or both!)

Rare car too. What is it? 1 of 510 if its a real 4 speed car? If that trans hump is still on the tunnel, that's $200 right there!

I sent him an email, but haven’t heard back. I’m curious to see if or what stick parts are still left. Both bumpers are bent and rotted, grille is broke, and everything except the hood and trunklid are rotted. I’d have to get it cheaper to pursue it,plus I have to get it here.

The restoration $ cost on Birdie's headrests (which I do not use/not installed ) at Just Dashes was ridiculous. If the blue headrests (repops are black and have to be dyed) on this car are not brittle and are usable, someone could offer several hundred bucks for them and still be way ahead of restoration prices. Just saying...

IMG_2700.JPG Damn.....was the driver part werewolf? Never seen a seat with that kind of wear on the sideo_O at least he didn't chew up the head rest too.
Lotta good parts on that car if price was right though!

You are correct about headrests and similar parts. I will NOT recover a headrest. They look horrible, and the repops look better in the file photo.

Who knows, maybe the owner thought it would get more attention there? It may be listed in multiple cities, I usually just post the first one I come across when doing my search

Radiator support pretty rusty,RH fenderwell is toast. The usual stuff with rust. That leaves the hood and trunklid for body parts. It does have some good blue interior parts, and guages.
