I'm assuming this is repro GS trim on my grille. Is there supposed to be a screw at the top of each of these? Not too keen on drilling screw holes into plastic... but it does seem pretty precarious as it is now.

Is it a reproduction grill? I think originals had the hole.

It looks too fresh to be an original one. Yeah I think a few holes shall be drilled this spring.

Thanks for the info. Is that a trim screws guide?

That’s AMK. I may have a pack of those if you want them?

Dave, I'm tempted by the offer but I never knew of that site & just started looking... I have a feeling I need a lot of what they have. So I will probably place an order soon.

That screw looks like it's the same one that is used on the chrome wheel well rings, is that possible? I know I have some of those here.

No different. They are in there as well but have a clear sealant on threads to prevent rust. They are not 100 percent accurate however but are probably closest available. Wheel well screws are shorter as well.

The cool thing is you can look up the GM part number if you know it in the index of their catalog and see if they carry the bolt or screw you need. They have a lot.

I took a quick peek at the website, I didn’t see a tab for Buick. looks like I’ll have to search Under Chevelle.

The grille "J" moldings have 2 screws holding them in. To get access to the other one is a bit more involved
