What is the safest way to install newly painted fenders and inner fenders back on the car? Core support is installed but loose, it looks like setting the inner in place then hang fenders. Any input from anyone that's gone through this a few times is appreciated. Thanks-Scott

    Very carefully!!

I would install the inner on the fender, then install the assembly. I'm sure I don't have to tell you to tape up EVERTHING! And get all your bolts and shims laid out.

I would get a few friends to help you. More than one pair of hands is needed.

Carefully, tape and 2 or 3 of us is a given for sure-1 guy just to wipe the sweat from my forehead! We hung and test fit front fenders today without the inners just to check gaps and lines (rust repair done on driver's lower fender, pass side is NOS). Is it easier to loosely bolt inner/outer together and hang or float the inner? We're assembling at work (body shop) but want to prevent as much if not all chips and touch up. Thank you Larry and Jason for your input so far! Scott
