I hate to part with this car, but I have too many projects, no room and very little time. I am posting it for sale here first, but I may consign somewhere later depending on interest. Price is $28,500. Here are the particulars:

Car was originally a GS 350 with automatic and AC. The car is now a GS Stage one "clone", but with more than just the badging. It has a bored 455 with heads that have been rebuilt to Stage 1 specs plus porting for more power. Less than 4K miles since complete restoration. Car got 13.8 MPG on a 95 degree day while on the Hot Rod Power Tour with the Vintage Air blowing ice cold.

New paint job in deep shiny black. Please check out the perfect lines and straightness of all panels, which is important for any high gloss black paint job. Car was prepped by fully sandblasting the body to be sure all underlying metal was rust and damage free. New front floor panels, new trunk floor, new rear deck seperator panel were installed. Car has all new exterior emblems and badging. The rear bumper is from 1971. I think it is better looking than the 1970, but it is an easy change to make.

New PUI interior. New carpet, headliner, seat covers, door panels, package tray cover, interior handles for windows and doors. New retractable 3 point seat belts. New very comfortable electric leather bucket seats, covered to match original "waffle pattern" interior design.

Under the new carpet the interior floor is covered 100% from dash to trunk with Fat Mat sound deadener.

Original restored and functional dual snorkel air cleaner. New Speedhut gauges.

Outside Sport mirrors. All new rubber and weatherstripping for doors, windows, truck.

New stereo with Bluetooth and iPhone connection. New amplifiers and speakers, with separate 1200 amp for woofer.

New front kick panels with built in speakers.

Customized original GS console with cupholders added.

F41 rear suspension with lowering springs and Bilstein shocks.

New body bushings, plus frame was fully boxed for improved rigidity.

    Smoothed firewall.

New disk brake rotors and calipers for all 4 wheels. Front rotors are drilled and slotted.

New dual diaphram brake booster and master cylinder. New brake proportioning valve.

New Nitto 555 tires, new Ridler mag wheels. 17x8 front and 18x9.5 rear.

Newly rebuilt and beefed up 700R4 automatic transmission. Has Corvette servo, upgraded clutches, Corvette pump valve, Transgo kit and associated mods so that is will shift into fourth at WOT. Has manual lockup switch. New 10" 2800 stall torque converter made by Winners Circle.

New u-joints in driveshaft which was also recently balanced. Rear ratio is 3.42 non-posi.

Newly rebuilt 455 motor: 1975 Block was hot tanked, cleaned, bored .030 over, zero deck, 10 to 1 CR. Also block was align honed. Rotating assembly was balanced. All machine work done by Kim Barr Racing Engines of Garland, TX. New Sealed Power hypereutectic pistons, moly rings, new cam, rod and main bearings, new SFI flywheel. Heads are 1972 that have been converted to Stage 1 specs with large valves, new springs, new valve job, professionally ported by Les Schmader Cylinder Head Porting Service. New TA212 camshaft. Edelbrock dual plane intake. New lifters. Exhaust manifolds were sandblasted and painted with cast iron high heat ceramic paint. New distributor, new spark plugs and wires.

New Pypes 2 1/2" dual exhaust system with new Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers.

Tubular front suspension with new springs, bushings, and Bilstein shocks. New front stabilizer bar, bushings and end links.

New quick ratio power steering box (the Chevelle SS one.)

New Vintage Air Gen IV AC system.

New high performance 4 core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.

New 750 CFM 4 barrel carburetor

New custom 3 spoke steering wheel that looks like the original GS wheel but smaller.

I will post more pics soon.

The front seats came out of a 2006 GTO. I had them covered to match the Buick interior. They are electric and move up and down, tilt, and back and forth. They are very comfortable. Here is another interior picture. front speaker.jpg

Very tastefully done car. Beautiful workmanship. Good Luck with the sale. I can see why you are hesitant to sell.

Looks very nice! I don’t see the battery, where is it? Is it all “sorted out” or is there anything left to do? Best guess on HP?
Ever run it and get an ET?
You did soooo much , why no posi?

I’ve been thinking of doing (or getting) a resto-mod...
    Thanks, Tom

I have a newly rebuilt posi but I'm not sure if it is the right one for this 3.42. Decided not to install it since this is not a drag racer. Never raced it or tested 1/4 mile times. It is probably around 400 HP and 500 TQ (stock exhaust manifolds). Battery is in the trunk. Its all sorted out, except for one item. I need to add an internal antenna to the radio. Makes no difference to me since I use a USB thumb drive to play what I want to hear.
