1970 GS AM Radio

Looking for an AM radio core for a 70 GS. By my figuring this should be part 04APB1. Whats basically needed is something that has a good face, so I can have someone redo the guts of it. The car came with an AM, and someone swapped an AM/FM in. I would like to go back to the original style.

I have a really nice AM radio I removed from a low miles '70 Lark. No rust, face is gorgeous. Pictures tomorrow ok.

Is 72 the same? I have one that looks just like that,but it came from a 72.

Thanks guys, I ended up buying Korrie's radio. I'll send it off this year hopefully as a Christmas gift to myself/49th birthday for the car and have FM/Blue tooth/audio in added.

 

Keep us posted on that. I would be interested in doing the same with mine.

 

Will do. Sorry I didnt see your question, but yeah the 72 is the same, but different part numbers. I was looking for an actual 70 radio. I saw quite a few 71 and 72 radios out there but not too many 70s that were nice enough. Korrie makes a few bucks for a radio he doesnt use, and I get a radio thats correct for the car, win win!
