It's always interesting when owners find our threads. Brett - I am interested in the car but your original completely free CL ad has one paragraph of information for some one to judge spending over 5 figures cash on. The less information in an ad and poor photos lead to more commentary from this forum. The combined knowledge on this forum is quite high.

You know as well as anyone that you live in a rust belt - put as much salt on the roads as possible state, so any negative reference to rust should be understandable.

The comment about the rust buckets coming out of the woodwork is also relevant. Very few people are undertaking these expensive restorations because of the cost and time. So since we monitor CL ads we see a lot of similar "Barn find" cars appearing which were previously unknown to the GS muscle era crowd.

im not ripping on people looking at the car- it definitely needs a frame off restoration and that what I do- I own the cars, restore some, and sell them- but im mostly a chevelle parts guy and have a lot of parts. im a chevelle guy and got into some stage 1 buicks when I found my stage 1 convert.- if it was a 70 chevelle ss454 convert project it would bring 35 grand as is. im not doubting the knowledge on this site- I like to talk to people in person and do not care for social media much. Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana and going east are rustier than we have up here- ive been to all the states and believe it or not Montana and upper west has the cleanest cars. this car needs the usual quarters, doors, bottom of fenders, and trunk floor- yes my pictures suck- there are no lights in there and 3 cars to move besides to get it out.. everybody that knows me knows I tell it how it is. this isn't the first time my cars have showed up on forums- I have super rare cars not including this one and they always pop up somewhere when I list them. my 7 1967 68 impala ss427s have showed up also on their site . my l79 chevelles on another site. most of my stuff is not affiliated with any sites. but I guess if someone is interested in the car my phone number is listed in this thread. thanks
