1970 GM 1233464 Metering Valve Rebuild

    I just posted an article that describes how to rebuild the 1970 GM 1233464 metering valve using a new seal kit that I produce. Here's the article:

    Scott,
    I have read your add and checked out your site. Lots of good info.

    Does your kit work on both styles of the residual pressure valves? Any idea if your kit works on the repo valves when they start failing?

    What do you mean by "both styles"? If you're referring to the earlier valve used on 1967 - 1969 models then the answer is "no, the kits aren't interchangeable", but I do have a different kit for the earlier valve. I haven't disassembled the repro valve to compare the internal parts. If they're the same the kit should work.
