Thank you. Kids have changed the direction of my life. Just no time for the track. I just want to get into something with a back seat so I can take the kids for a cruise and get ice cream.

Very nice car! When you sell it find your self a nice Grand National:laugh: Nice car for the family.:idea2: Please don't be offended but you should put as many pics as possible in your racingjunk add, a picture is worth a thousand words and your market is world wide. Just a thought and good luck

Not in line, Just curious, pump gas friendly with 308s... What are you running for compression? Tune, total advance, ect.... Can you give more details on the engine? I'm sure others may want more details also and it may help with the sale. I'm running a 304s with gessler ported stage 2 heads and I'm afraid to try pump gas straight up- I mix in some 112 leaded.

Total compression is 10.6 to 1, total timing at 36. Now, I will mix 110 in when I go to the track but on the street is straight 93. It is fine to cruise around but not to start pounding on it. I want the extra insurance of the 110 octane before I would do that even more than likely it would be fine. I've ran this exact combo for almost 9 years and never had an issue. The aluminum heads are able to help quench the detonation as well.

Thank you for the clarification. I'm not sure I would try that with my 12:1 compression combo. Very nice car. Good luck with the sale.

You shouldnt really have issues detonating with 10.6.1 compression and aluminum heads, scotty built both our engines at the same time,u have Diamond pistons in there?

Hey George, this is a new motor built over the winter, pretty much the same thing as the previous. Theses are wiseco pistons with I believe GRP rods.
How's your mill doing? Still going?

I think Tracy would kill me if I sold the trailer. She drove it all the way north from Florida with her dad when I ordered it and I got called to work the day before we were supposed to leave to get it. She never lets me live that one down.
