Doesn't look to be original engine based on heads, also fan shroud is wrong, look like a 350 one. However if it goes cheap it would be a deal for someone looking for a restoration project. It's on Log Island, How did Jason miss this one?
This was the GS in Connecticut that was on Craigslist. The pictures showed it with flat tires sitting on the side of a house filthy. I think the ask was $2500. Amazing what a good scrubbing, a vacuuming and better scenery does for the price.
Looks like a "Blue Block" (75-76) judging by the valve covers and their color. Head casing number is for a 72-76 head which would make sense. Me thinks there was more wrong than a faulty water pump, as the ad states is why the car was parked. There has to be some shill bidding going on.
This one was for sale last week for 40K BIN or BO. I don't think it's an original black car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/152472133934?ul_noapp=true
I am the bidder on the black car , concerned it might be a fake auction . Zero feedback with a new member who joined 2 weeks ago. Asked him to call me today, still waiting on that.
I don't think it's a fake auction. That ID is the guys name, it looks like he owns a car hauling company. The car is on another site someplace. It said there it was not a black car...lots of other info. Better pics, too. Seems like a really good price for it. It's like mine. Let me know if you want me to find the other listing.
tell the guy your sending someone out to look at it for you. Find out where it is. If he starts making excuses.... walk away.
