1970 Aqua Mist, anyone have the formula for this

Does anyone have or can help with getting the formula for this in base coat/Clear coat modern type paint?

Here you go. PPG code 2168 in 1970. Find a PPG dealer and give them that code and they should be able to make it in a modern paint.

I’m guessing that is Duponts version?

 

wa is the base coat clear coat suffix

 

Yea that's just more easy to look up formula

 

I believe WA was the GM code for acrylic lacquer not base/clear

 

Note all the factory colors from the assembly manual chart use the WA prefix. The chart also shows generic color name and not Buick sales name. It’s Medium Turquoise Metallic.
