Posting my dad's 69 GS Convertible for sale:

This is a numbers matching GS400 automatic car, Ram Air Hood with a floor shifter. Car is blue with a white top and white bucket seat interior.
While going through the car I found the original build sheet which is included with the car.

It is a power drum brake, non AC car.

    Details:
Ram Air Hood (2 included with chrome trim intact)
-one is in the photo which is dented but has all the chrome
-one is in perfect condition, came from a Nevada
    Factory Ram Air, Air Cleaner
    Complete interior intact
    -dash is perfect
    -floor shifter/console is not broken
-seats are complete with head rests and backing
    -door panels with GS emblems
    -chrome/stainless door sill plates
    -kick panels, etc
GS Grille with one or two cracks
GS Grille chrome surround in great condition (not the broken one in the attached photo)
Front and rear bumpers are good cores to be reworked or swap them out with a vendor

My dad bought the car in 1972 and drove it until 1985 at which time it was put in the garage where it still sits today. Last year I tore into the car to gain a better understanding of what the car needs and I feel its pretty in line with a car from the Northeast:
Cowl at the base of the windshield has rot on both sides
Floors where they meet the firewall has rot
Passenger Inner rockers below the A-pillars are rotted at the front, about 6"
Trunk floor has a couple soft spots
Outer rear wheel houses at the wheel arches are rotted

I have the following sheet metal to go with the car which are all sandblasted and in primer:
    Perfect driver and passenger doors
    Perfect driver and passenger fenders
    Perfect decklid
    Nearly perfect radiator support

I have a pair of brand new full 1/4's to go with the car. From there the car can be brought back to life. The car is apart so you can see exactly what it needs. I have every single nut, bolt, panel, etc to put the car back together since that was the plan when I pulled it apart. There is a lot of money in parts with this car if you decide to sell everything off. My hope is someone will restore it.

The car does have a Mass title dated from 1972 when my dad bought it which will be handed over with the sale of the car. Car is located in my garage in Pelham, NH if you want to see it.

    Serious inquiries only.

    $5000 is the price

Greetings and good luck with the sale. You may want to indicate condition of motor/tranny when parked and whether or not they are the #'s matching drivetrain.

Im curious - where did you find the build sheet and what plant was it manufactured at ?

Thanks - I think your asking price is fair for a complete big block convert :beer

The car ran when parked but keep in mind that was in 1985 with 117k original miles. The motor and trans are original to the car and are numbers matching to the car.
The build sheet was tucked in the coils of the upper portion of the back seat. When I pulled the seat out, there it was.
I do not know the plant it was built in, but I will check to confirm.

How is the frame and interior ? Posi rear? Thanks

Frame is good, interior is pretty decent considering it is all original. The only thing I did not keep when removing the interior was the carpet because it was worn by the brake/gas pedal. Aside from that I have everything. As noted in the original post the dash is perfect, floor shifter, etc. It's all there.

It does have a posi rear. I am unsure of the ratio, but I almost positive the tag is still on the diff cover.

What do you mean by full rear 1/4's are these NOS or just aftermarket skins?

    They are aftermarket skins.

I have sourced perfect `69 doors and fenders that are all original since the original posting. These are available to go with the car.

Putting the Skylark back on the market. After having it blasted my dad has decided he is going to find another car to buy.

This is a great restoration for someone who has the time, ability or finances to see it through to the end.

What's nice is we have absolutely everything to put the car back together with the exception of the floors which can be purchased through many vendors. Some people say they would patch the floors where others say they would replace everything. It's really up to who would purchase it.

Additionally the hood hinges, pedals, jack, hood latch, heater box, wiper motor, top motor and pistons are all painted factory original. The dash and visors are in perfect condition and cleaned up really nice.

See the pictures showing the condition of the car and email me, do not send a PM for additional information. I am going to post the car up in multiple locations for sale. If it doesn't move in the next few weeks I am going to part everything out.
