Thats a good question Herb. Most people have only seen the later NOS ones that were medium brown. Those were re-released in the mid 80's with the 70 GS grilles. These are early NOS ones that are the correct dark brown. I can post a pic if you need one. Duane has seen them and told me they are 100% correct. BTW, one box of three does one car. Dont get valuable points deducted at the next BPG nats. These little things are what separate the nice cars from the rest. If I have no takers, its gonna be off to Ebay.
put me in line for this I would like to see some pictures first. also are there any visible part numbers
Be careful with this seller. Anorther member reported he bought a 3 pack and they were stale and not fresh as represented.
Now this here is some funny stuff. I'm going to have to go back into the dim and misty past to see what other gems are to be found.
Just came across this fine thread this morning while enjoying a very hot cup of my favorite coffee. Ended up with about half of it on my shirt. Man, you boys definitely have a way with words. Love this site.
I have a big bag of those, they came out of the headliner of my 71 Framingham car. Lazy assembly line worker, I guess. This may account for some of the Framingham cars not having them, even though they should. Maybe I should post them in the lost and found section, someone must need these to complete their car.
Ahh . For those of you that are 'new' to this site, please feel free to read this thread. Understand there is a fair amount of b*llbusting that happens here (all in good fun). Also, some educational points to think about. Enjoy!!
Ahh .. the thread that just keeps on giving. ... How appropriate that I started it as a tongue-in-cheek response to one board members' outragous prices in a for sale thread - and that same board member just "screwed" the rules selling to out of line buyer on at least two counts ou: Ohh - the NOS 69 air is still available :TU:
