Doubt if you will find one for that kind of money, let alone a stick car.

You might need to set your sights a little lower or the amount a little higher. It is hard to find a driver quality GS350 for $10 so a Stage 1 might be tough.

My suggestion would be buy a '69 Lark and shove a 430 down its throat. Put in posi, buckets and a floor shift. Then drive it like a rental.

Bill V, the white stick Stage 1 car is the one we were talking about the summer, I think the guy paid less than 20K for the car, and from what I understand it a real nice unit but the guy is kinda squirrelly.

Nick Servo had his perfect Blue 69 GS 400 Stick at the AC show and it's the best 69 I have ever seen.

WOW you guy really know how to:spank: a man for trying:Brow: well looks like i will have to settle for a 1970 gs stage 1 stick shift:spank: not really a 70's body style person! but there are 3 in a junk yard,in the very bad part of cleveland, ohio. ask the owner if i could take a couple pics and he told me if i did, he would let the dogs lose on me:eek2: but he is more then willing to sale all 3 cars!! with just bill of sale for $3,000.00:TU: from what he is willing to tell me !!the cars have been parked in his junk yard for the past 17 plus years from what i can see from the mileage on the odomiter he as to be telling the the truth!!! all 3 stage 1 cars have very good miles 68thousand/54thousand/81thousand but one of the cars has a hood that i have never seen before looks more like a shaker hood from a dodge charger!! 1 was rolled very badly/ 2 rear end pushed in trunk to back window/ 3 the one with the funny looking hood rapped around a pole!! but i would be more then willing to trade for a 1969 stage 1 numbers matching stick shift daily driver for all 3:grin:

A few years ago you might have had a chance to get 1 for that kind of money, but not now. I bought my 68 GS400 convertible @ 5 years ago for $3500, although it wasn't a Stage 1 or stick car. It was a rusty driver:3gears: . Not real bad, but was showing some rust. I have seen a couple sell for more $$$$ in worse shape than mine in the last 2 years. I'm not sure what it would bring now:Do No: . If all goes well, it will be driven again this year:beers2: .

You still seem to be confused about how much a 69GS is worth. Much less a 4speed Stg1 #'s car. You'd have a hard time finding a nice Skylark in the 5-6K range.
Sorry if you thought we were being hard on you.
Hope those junkyard Stg 1's work out for you. Please post some pics when you get them. At the very least contact Scat(Gary) if you pass so he can scoop them up.
