Mike, I know of a 69 stage 1 convertible in sherwood green. it's a loaded car and is still in the hands of the person who bought it new. I can do some checking and see if it's for sale again. it was at one time and then stuck in storage.
Oh boy.... I can hear at least 5 people on the board beginning to drool.... Yes, that includes Mr Sobotka....:bla:
at one time i could have owned that car for only $5000, sadly at the time it may as well have been $100,000
more than you know... he had a wicked Hatch built 430 in it that cost a fortune many years ago.. i think the motor in it now is the original one and a tamer version
In my opinion, from what I have seen, the air cars tend to be more solid as most are/were from drier and warmer regions.
have to be a '69? Consider a '68? What shape are you looking for... Driver/needs touch up or completed?
Mike, I have a 69 skylark convertible for sale. No visible rust but does have some bond on the rear quarters. Runs and drives, will need a new top aND interior work. Call me at 630-803-7603 for more details.
