I need an antenna mast for a 1969 Skylark custom

I don't have one to sell but do you need an AM or AM-FM? AM is telescoping (3ft?)and FM is a shorter (about 2ft) fixed length. I "believe" both will work with either radio.

Than would be a great price however, the base of my antennae has a post sticking up where the mast slide over it. This one seems to be revered of what I have.
    Thanks
I also see I've posted this in the "cars wanted" instead of "parts wanted" :-(

Post sticking up? Can you post a photo of that, it does not sound right. I have had both types of antennas and the female side was on the car.

This is an antenna base from a parts for sale post .
The antenna slides in, the larger nut secures/trims the base to the fender and the smaller nut tightens the antenna mast.

That post piece is garbage. I'm not sure if you can take the nut off that piece.

That post may be a piece of another antenna of some sort.

Exactly, scrap that post piece. My guess is that was part of an AM antenna.

The antenna from ebay will slide right in if you want the AM telescoping version that can pick up signals from Voyager like Alan said.

If you do not get the one on E-bay, I have either masks and or a complete antenna, if you still need it, and the nut comes with the masks.

What are you asking for it, I've been out bidded on ebay and was waiting until tomorrow to bid again.
    Thanks

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, been kinda bad weather, and difficult to get to parts. I found a complete, 68/9 mask, body and lead, but the mask does not want to come un-screwed from the body. With that said it would be difficult to put in as one unit. The other masks I have appear to be 66/7 with screw in ends. not push in like 68/9 with the nut that tightens. Will keep looking when the weather get better.

Did you get the ebay antenna and extras? It went for a fair price I believe $17.50.

I made a bid and was out-bidded a day later so I waited until about the end; I checked 15 minutes before bid ending however, I was watching the football game and lost track of time so I missed out. What a bummer
