Nice...so are the other cars in the photographs, no doubt a curber just trolling for bait. This car is at the very top of its price point, so if anyone were to consider this thing, it would need a full inspection and work up to see if it is as advertised.

For anywhere near that price point it better have every top national award in the book. Looks like a nice car though at a little more than half the price. That awful under dash unit would be the first thing to go followed by the wheels.

This car has been for sale for quite a while locally (no surprise). It was initially listed last summer as a 67 Electra.

So someone is taking a bath on it.
Probably got "took" on a trade, and now the guy's underwater.
I remember an old Mercedes that had that happen to it, it got taken in at a Toyota dealership, the salesman (a kid really, might have been his first deal) got severely hosed on it and somehow sold his boss on it. It was on the lot for over a year, the kid was long gone by that point. It wasn't in bad shape or anything, in fact it was quite nice, it's just that it was a 1961 180 sedan, so nothing to write home about and certainly not worth $25K. I don't know how they got rid of it, maybe they squashed it. They tried to auction it, and it was a no sale with not even a nibble. The one memory I have of him was him getting down on one knee begging me to put an offer in on it since I showed an interest in it; - I did, but I don't think it helped him out any.
