1968 GS jack U68 hook

I am in need of a jack assembly with the jack hook. I think I need the U68 hook. If any one has one please post.

 

This sucks but there was one on ebay that just sold. Best original I have ever seen. Even had the original paper sticker on it.

 

Yea I was the dummy who only bid 60.00 and was out bid with 3 seconds to go.

 

That's the way ebay goes. I've kicked myself several times for not going higher. Why does it feel like it has to be the only 2 guys bidding on it on this planet and the other guy gets it for a couple bucks more.

 

Any links to pic of the thing? Have several unidentified "orphan" hooks. a few masts, and a good supply of bases. Doubt I have it, but who knows?

 

It will be stamped on the under side of the hook by the connecting bar like this;

I guess I should look at the ones in my cars and then see if any in the Buick dungeon match up, I've parted out over 7 '68's so it would seem there would be at least one down there. I looked the other day and didn't see any numbers so now I have go to the trunks! Wish me luck tomorrow!
