I owned this car, the posting on Craig's list does not reflect how I bought it, nor the current state of the car, nor how I sold it to the new owner. The prior title (that I received) had a handwritten note that the seller believed it had 227,000 miles (and it clearly stated exceeds mechanical limits on the title I provided to the current owner -). Whatever the number, it is well worn and that is plain to see. Sadly, this car is probably beyond repair unless you want to make it a labor of love. The frame is heavily rusted and has been poorly patched, the floors are the same. It does run and move.
You're definitely not being a nuisance, but there is a section called "Cars and Parts for Sale Leads" that is just 4 sections up for posting cars that aren't yours. You'll get a lot more response to your posts up there, too
