That body looks like it was out too late at the Bondo and rattle can paint salesmans' convention ;-). I fear it is rotted from end to end... and that's just what we can see ;-(( Always sad to see...

Yeah I have that same feeling. Maybe we're wrong, but.......

Yeah, it's got rot in all the right places from the looks of it, I don't think you guys are wrong. Too bad; it's a nice colour.

I looked at it Sunday. Power window, bucket seat/console car but no A/C, and has manual steering and brakes. Although the floor is decent, it has been patched previously and has
it's fair share of filler in the quarters and lower fenders. The gentleman who owns it knows it needs work, but is reluctant to come down to a reasonable number. 94k miles, but he is having the fuel system cleaned out now so I could not hear it run. Complete, except one fender skirt.

Manual steering and brakes? That’s unusual (and hurts its value, too).

Power steering and power brakes are easy enough to source and install. At $6500, negotiate down to $5500 and drive that thing.

I offered him 5000.00. It has a beautiful interior, but needs extensive sheet metal repair/replacement. I do have a couple of usable fenders for it but that's all without cutting up my other 68 'Cat convertible, which I won't do. It would make a good driver though.
