1968 Buick GS project with a clean MA title.

Originally maroon with vinyl top, bucket seat, full length console car.

I bought this with the intention of doing a full, frame off restoration. Unfortunately I need to sell it at this time. I will do my best to describe it as it sits now.

    - frame: striped, painted, assembled with all new suspension components. Bushings, shocks, springs etc.

Original front aluminum brake drums rebuilt. Fuel and brake lines are all new from Inline Tube. New fuel tank and hardware. Body placed back on the frame.

    - Rear end: 12 bolt posi, 2xx or low 3.0x gear ratio. Brakes have been rebuilt with all new components.

    - Engine: rebuilt 1969 rr code 400 with receipts and also a TH 400 trans.

    - Body: I began the body work by having a one piece floor welded in. Still needs quarter work (I am including left and right quarters). Radiator support needs work, inner fender work etc. (refer to pictures). Hood is complete, as well as trunk lid and both fenders are present.

    - Interior: the original interior is present, however I bought a complete legendary interior kit for it, which includes front/ rear seat covers, seat foam, door panels, package tray, headliner, kick panel carpet, floor carpet, door sill plates etc. Basically everything I have for the car will be included along with a 16" 1969-1970 thumb groove rally steering wheel

    - Misc: grill is original and decent, most of the trim is there as well as the glass, etc.

Overall a decent project that has had a lot of time, work and money invested - just need someone to finish it up to get it to the next level.

I encourage any interested party to contact me with any questions or to inspect the car, which is located in Billerica, MA.

    6000.00 or B/R/O.

    thanks,

    Gary

GREAT DEAL and priced right too!

But then, OMG. . .PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE PLEASE...set the hood ON ITS SIDE and OFF THE POINTS....! Once those "points" are messed up & bent, its is nearly impossible to get them right.....

I agree with WHEELZ on both points. If I had enough time left I'd jump at this opportunity.

I dont know why a a guy that went by "Maroon Goon" would think that. ;);) It will be a great looking car and a very fair price.

Wheelz, I am not wishing you harm in any way, but You should have "set the hood ON ITS SIDE and OFF THE POINTS....!" on your tombstone when that faithful day comes. ;);) Tony

Tony- lol... the “maroon goon” was the 69 stage 1 4 speed that now lives in Kentucky... truth be told, I bought a 68 GS 400 4 speed hardtop, factory maroon/ black interior car, that now lives in Idaho... trust me, I’ve considered buying the project listed above.. right now I can’t have two full blown projects on my plate.. lol
